# Connecting WeldCloud Link to a WeldCloud-Enabled Device

The WeldCloud Link app leverages the Bluetooth functionality of the Android device it is installed on to establish communication with WeldCloud-enabled equipment. This allows for seamless integration and efficient connectivity between the app and the equipment.

### Step-by-Step Connection Process:
1. **Device Scanning**: WeldCloud Link automatically scans for nearby WeldCloud-enabled devices within Bluetooth range.
2. **Device Selection**: From the list of detected devices, simply select the one you wish to connect to.

**1.** Open **WeldCloud Link** app

**2.** Tap **LOG IN** if you have a WeldCloud account or **SKIP**

**3.** Click **Connect**

**5.** WeldCloud Link app will pair with the device and home page will open

### Quick Connection via QR Code:
For faster setup, you can scan a QR code that encodes the Bluetooth MAC ID of the WeldCloud-enabled equipment. This eliminates the need to manually search or select the device from a list.

* Generating Custom QR Codes: If a QR code is not readily available, you can generate one yourself using any online QR code generator. Ensure that the format adheres to the standard Bluetooth MAC address format, such as: `A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6`
* Using Pre-Provided QR Codes: If you are using a Universal Connector, the box typically includes a pre-generated QR code. You can use this code for quick and easy pairing.

**4.** Scan Bluetooth module MAC ID to quickly connect to your WeldCloud enabled equipment. On Universal Connector, you can find it on the back of the electronic box module...
