# How to add machine availability status and time stamp

Setting up machine availability status helps InduSuite users to generate machine availability reports.
Machine status can be updated through API calls.

In this article we are going to show how you can set an availability status manually in WeldCloud Fleet

**1.** Enter **WeldCloud Fleet** app

**2.** Expand **Machine & Stations** menu

**3.** Click **List view**

**4.** Select the machine you want to add **availability status** and **availabilitystatus timestamp** information

**5.** Click **Stats and availability**

**6.** Click **Add time stamp**

**7.** Select relevant **availability status** from the dropdown list

**8.** Current time will be automatically set as **START TIME**. Adjust START TIME when needed

**9.** Enter a comment for the availability status change (optional) and click **Save**

**10.** Adding another availability status will automatically set **END TIME** and **DURATION** for the previous status.

Click **Add time stamp** to add an availability status change

**11.** Select another availability status

**12.** Confirm proposed **START TIME** or adjust accordingly

**13.** Click **Save**

**14.** Previous status duration will be automatically calculated
