# How to connect ESAB Aristo system to WeldCloud using gateway web interface

## Connect via Wi-Fi

Step-by-step walkthrough for connecting an ESAB Aristo system with Quark gateway to WeldCloud by accessing the gateway's web configuration page over Ethernet and configuring WiFi. 17 steps, ~5 minutes.

### Prerequisites

- ESAB Aristo system with Quark gateway ([compatible systems](https://support.indusuite.com/en/article/hardware-equipped-with-quark-gateway-7kdw2f/))
- PC with Ethernet port and Ethernet cable
- Static IP `192.168.254.10/24` configured on PC (see [How to set a Static IP Address in Windows](https://support.indusuite.com/en/article/how-to-set-a-static-ip-address-in-windows-7-8-or-10-15ky0u4/))
- Asset pre-created in WeldCloud with configuration file downloaded
- Active InduSuite account with WeldCloud license
- At least one Site created in WeldCloud

### Procedure

1. **Turn on** welding equipment and **wait 2 minutes** for gateway to boot

2. **Connect** your PC and welding equipment through Ethernet cable

3. Open browser and navigate to **`192.168.254.1`** (open with `https://`)

4. Enter credentials and click **"Login"** — default username: `admin`, password: `gateway`

5. You will be forced to change the default gateway password — choose your password and fill in twice

6. Click **"Save new password"**

7. Click **"Configuration"**

8. Click on **"Wifi"**

9. Click on **dropdown menu** and select your WiFi network name

10. Enter your **WiFi network password**

11. Click **"Save changes"**

12. On the top right side of the screen you will be notified that gateway is **connected to your WiFi network**

13. Click **"Cloud configuration"**

14. Click on **"Browse"** button and load the configuration file downloaded previously

15. Click **"Save changes"**

16. Check the **Cloud icon** on the top right side of the screen to verify WeldCloud connectivity

17. Click **"Home"** for further system status information

## Connect via wired connection

11. Click **"Network configuration"**

12. Click **"Wired"**

13. Select **IP assignment** — use **Dynamic** (DHCP) for most network environments

14. Click **"Save changes"**

15. **Disconnect** your laptop from the Aristo and **connect the Aristo to your wired network**
