# How to Edit Weld Tags

Tag weld sessions with site, assembly, weld, pass, and operator information after they've been recorded. Useful when welders forgot to tag sessions or when corrections are needed.

## Procedure

1. From the Global Dashboard, click **"Events"** and then **"All Sessions"**. Select the Session you want to edit

2. Click **"All sessions"**

3. Click on the machine/session you want to edit (e.g., "MACHINE A1")

4. Click on **"Edit weld tags"** and enter all the necessary details

5. Click the **Site** text field

6. Select the Site (e.g., "Aalborg Plant")

7. Click the **Assembly** text field

8. Select the Assembly from the list

9. Click the **Weld** text field

10. Select the Weld (e.g., "W-002")

11. Click the **"Pass ID"** field

12. Select the Pass

13. Click the **"Operator"** field

14. Select the Operator

15. Click **"Save"**

16. After you're done, you can check the history of changes made to this weld session

17. Click on the history entry to see details
