How to read NFC ID using an NFC capable device
ESAB Warrior EDGE system NFC cards introduction
Warrior EDGE system comes with built-in RFID capabilities in the RobustFeed EDGE and is delivered with a set of NFC cards.
Such cards can be assigned to personnel in WeldCloud to define machine permission and authorization level on the Warrior EDGE equipment.
Association of a NFC user card and a personnel member in WeldCloud is done through the unique NFC ID of a user card.
Different sets of NFC cards have been delivered, depending on the purchasing date of the ESAB Warrior EDGE welding system, as shown in below pictures.
Main difference between older and newer version of NFC cards is whether or not the NFC ID is printed on the cards.

ADMIN cards should not be associated to a personnel member and should be used by welding equipment manager to enter Warrior EDGE system with administrative privileges
Getting NFC ID for a newer version of a user card is easy since ID is written directly on the card itself. Hence NFC ID can be easily associated to a personnel member in WeldCloud

Reading NFC ID from older user cards
There are several apps available for NFC capable devices (such as smartphone, tablets, ...) that can be used to read the NFC ID from a user card.
Another simple way to read the NFC is from an older user card is to enter WeldCloud Personnel management using Google Chrome on an Android device with built-in NFC capabilities.
Please follow below instructions to associate on older user card to a personnel member.
