WeldCloud Link App overview

WeldCloud Link automate the process of logging consumables or operations information related to a specific welding procedure. It also enables configuration of ESAB power sources for WeldCloud connectivity. WeldCloud Link is only available for Android Devices.

Step 1: Configure Operator in WeldCloud

Go to Machine Permissions in WeldCloud Fleet . Here you define the Operators that can login on each machine. You also set the Power source permission. Once the Operator Groups are defined, they will be sent out automatically to the corresponding machines.

Step 2: Download the WeldCloud Link App

Get your Android device and open Google play. Search for WeldCloud Link app and choose download. Or scan this QR code to get directly to the download page.

Step 3: Using the app

You are now ready to start using WeldCloud Link.
Open the app and connect via bluetooth to a welding machine connected to WeldCloud. The available machines will be listed.
Identify yourself by using your username (same as in WeldCloud) and Operator password (configured in WeldCloud under Settings / Personal Settings).
Scan the consumables you are going to use. You are now ready to start welding.

Step 4: Seeing the data in WeldCloud

After scanning and welding you can login to WeldCloud to see the data. Go to Weld sessions and choose a specific session to see the scanned data. You can also go to Reports and make a report based on the scanned data.

Troubleshooting

I can't login

Check WeldCloud Fleet Operator groups. Make sure the correct Operators are in the rights groups and that the groups are connected to right machines and sites.
Make sure that you connect to the correct machine
Restart the power source and wait for a bit (< 5 min). During this time should be able to synchronize the Operator Groups with WeldCloud
Check your password setting in WeldCloud Settings / Personal Settings
