Introduction

WeldCloud Notes has the ability to automatically renew welder certificates based on completed welds in WeldCloud Assembly. The following conditions must be met for each welder and certificate combination:

• Welder must have performed welds in the past 6 months within the same conditions of the welder certificate
• ASME IX and AWS standards: The welding process in the welds needs to be the same as the certificate
• ISO 9606-1: Welding process, welding details, weld type should be the same

Enable the automatic renewal

You can enable the automatic renewal of welder certificates individually for each certificate. You can do so in the certificate's individual page, in the header section of the editing mode.

Site responsible

The welder certificate will include an automatic signature of the person involved. Each site can have a responsible person whose digital signature will be associated with the automated renewal. You can do this at Sites > Your Sites:

Weld verification on periodic renewal

In the menus for welder qualification renewal, you will still be able to manually renew each welder certificate. Here's an example of what the different scenarios will look like:

The different options are as follows:

• Certificate will automatically be renewed on deadline date: This means WeldCloud Assembly has welds made by this welder and they match the requirements to renew the certificate. Click on the welds to view them in WeldCloud Assembly
• Eligible for Automatic Renewal. Turn on the automatic renewal option to enable it: This means WeldCloud Assembly has welds made by this welder and they match the requirements to renew the certificate, but the certificate does not have automatic renewal enabled.
• Could not find enough welds to perform the automatic renewal: This means WeldCloud Assembly could not find enough welds that match the certificate requirements for the automatic renewal, but the certificate has automatic renewal enabled
• No remark: WeldCloud Assembly could not find welds to automatically renew the certificate, and the automatic renewal is turned off.
