How to Create a PQR

One of the first steps we recommend when you start using WeldCloud Notes is to creating a digital copy of all your welding documentation.
Start by adding all your PQR's following the guide below:


1. Navigate to https://notes.apps.indusuite.com/


2. Click "PQRs"

5. Click Standard and select one from the list.

6. Click "Create PQR and continue editing" to start entering all the details.

7. Attach a PDF of your PQR in "Add file".

8. Start by selecting the Weld Type and scroll down to enter all relevant details that apply to your case.

9. When you're done, click "Next: Base Materials"

10. You are now able to select the Base Material.

11. Enter the Thickness and see your Approval Range pop-up on the right side of the screen immediately (disclaimer: not available for all standards)

12. Click here to search for a Groove Design.

13. Click the Edit button and after you find the Groove Design your looking for, edit the drawing to match your needs.

14. You can also Edit the Weld Layer Configuration if needed.

15. Click "Next: Consumables"

16. Use the same procedure as before to search for your Filler Metal/Consumable.
Enter the Gas Type, Gas Mixture and Flow Rate range for each Welding Process.

17. After you complete all steps, click "Next: Welding Passes"

18. Click "Add pass" and then select the Layer.

19. Follow the same steps if you have additional Layers.
At the end, click "Save".

20. Once you have entered all details, click "Save" and your PQR is ready to be used in WeldCloud Notes.

21. You can also click "Generate PQR report" to create a PDF of your new PQR.

22. Click "Download the PDF"
