How to change WiFi network configuration for your WeldCloud enabled equipment

At times, you may need to connect your WeldCloud-enabled equipment to a different network than the one it was originally configured with. This could be due to various reasons, such as the creation of a dedicated SSID specifically for your WeldCloud devices or an ongoing Wi-Fi deployment initiative by your IT department within the production facility.

To facilitate this transition seamlessly, the WeldCloud Link application for Android devices offers a dedicated function that allows users to reconfigure the network settings of any WeldCloud-enabled device efficiently.

Please follow the detailed step-by-step instructions below to complete the process successfully.

1. Open WeldCloud Link on your Android device

2. Tap LOG IN and use your WeldCloud apps credentials

3. Tap on the hamburger menu in the top left corner

4. Tap Welding Unit Setup

5. Tap CONNECT

6. Available WeldCloud devices will be displayed. Tap on the one you want to connect to

7. Wait for Bluetooth connection to be ready

8. Tap NETWORK SETTINGS

9. Enter gateway password you set during first configuration and tap LOGIN

10. Select Wifi

11. Tap on Wifi icon to scan for available wifi networks

12. WeldCloud Link will scan for available Wi-Fi networks

13. Tap on the new Wifi network you want to connect to

14. StepFill-in Wifi password and tap on SAVE CHANGES

15. A message shows new network settings applied
