How to connect ESAB EDGE system to WeldCloud using WeldCloud Link app
Connect via Wi-Fi
Step-by-step walkthrough for connecting an ESAB Warrior EDGE system to WeldCloud using the WeldCloud Link Android app over Bluetooth, configuring WiFi connectivity. 19 steps, ~5 minutes.
Prerequisites
- ESAB Warrior EDGE system
- WiFi and Bluetooth USB dongles installed (see How to connect Bluetooth and WiFi dongles to Warrior EDGE and Supported connectivity dongles)
- Android device (7.0+) with Bluetooth and Internet
- WeldCloud Link installed
- Active InduSuite account with WeldCloud license
- At least one Site created in WeldCloud
Procedure
- Install WiFi and Bluetooth dongles into the Warrior EDGE USB ports
- Turn on welding equipment and wait 2 minutes for gateway to boot
- Open WeldCloud Link on your Android device

- Tap "LOG IN" and use your WeldCloud apps credentials


- Tap on the hamburger menu in the top left corner

- Tap "Welding Unit Setup"

- Tap "CONNECT"

- Available WeldCloud devices will be displayed — tap on the EDGE device you want to connect to

- Wait for Bluetooth connection to be ready

- Tap on "PAIR"

- Tap "NEW SETUP"

- Enter gateway password (default:
gateway) and tap "LOGIN"

- You will be forced to change the default password — choose a new password, type it twice, tap "SAVE CHANGES"

- Select "Wifi"

- Tap on the WiFi icon to scan for available networks

- WeldCloud Link will scan for available Wi-Fi networks

- Tap on the WiFi network you want to connect to

- Fill in the WiFi password and tap "NEXT"

- Type the welding equipment display name, pick the site, select asset type and license, then tap "CONFIGURE SETUP"

- Wait for setup to complete

- You will be notified once configuration is done

Connect via wired connection
Step-by-step walkthrough for connecting an ESAB Warrior EDGE system to WeldCloud using the WeldCloud Link Android app over Bluetooth, configuring wired Ethernet connectivity. 18 steps, ~5 minutes.
Prerequisites
- ESAB Warrior EDGE system
- Bluetooth USB dongle installed (see How to connect Bluetooth and WiFi dongles to Warrior EDGE and Supported connectivity dongles)
- Ethernet cable connected between EDGE and your network
- Android device (7.0+) with Bluetooth and Internet
- WeldCloud Link installed
- Active InduSuite account with WeldCloud license
- At least one Site created in WeldCloud
Procedure
- Turn on welding equipment and wait 2 minutes for gateway to boot
- Open WeldCloud Link on your Android device

- Tap "LOG IN" and use your WeldCloud apps credentials

- Connect the EDGE to your wired network
