How to factory reset a Quark gateway in case of a lost password, using a USB stick

This aricle explains how to factory reset a Quark gateway enabled WeldCloud equipment using a USB stick.
Please take a look at this article to check what welding equipment is provided with Quark gateway.

Please ensure following requirements are met:

1. USB stick formatted as FAT32
2. Quark gateway reset file downloaded on your PC/laptop

How to download Quark gateway reset file

• Format a USB stick as FAT32 and copy reset file do_gateway_factory_reset into USB stick root
• Turn welding equipment off
• Insert USB stick into the equipment as shown in pictures below (USB port location depends on the equipment. On PEK control panel USB port is on the back)

• Once USB stick is in, power on welding equipment
• Wait 2 minutes for the factory reset to happen
• Power off welding equipment
• Remove USB stick
• Power on welding equipment and access Quark gateway with default credentials (username: admin, password: gateway)
