How to update Quark gateway firmware through built-in web configuration page

WeldCloud Quark gateway has a built-in web based configuration page featuring a firmware upgrade utility.
Please refer to this article to check Quark gateway enabled equipment.


As a first step, please download from WeldCloud Fleet latest and greatest firmware package

Download latest Quark gateway firmware


1. Navigate to https://apps.indusuite.com


2. Sign into InduSuite platform with your credentials


3. Click on WeldCloud Fleet


4. Click "Firmware management"


5. Click "Download files"


6. Download latest Firmware File for Quark gateway


7. Save firmware package on your computer


Depending on your current setup, there are different ways to access Quark gateway web configuration page


  1. If your equipment is already connected to your network (either WiFi or Ethernet), please jump to this section
  2. If your equipment is not yet connected to your network, please jump to this section


Equipment already connected to your network


Please make sure following requirements are met


  • Your PC/laptop and Quark gateway enabled equipment are connected to same network
  • You know IP address of your WeldCloud connected equipment (please refer to this article for details)


Access Quark gateway configuration page launching https://X.X.X.X page in your browser, where X.X.X.X is the IP address of your connected equipment. If you get a privacy error please refer to this guide


Follow below instructions to update Quark gateway firmware.


Equipment not yet connected to your network


Please make sure following requirements are met


  • PC with Ethernet port and Ethernet cable
  • Static IP 192.168.254.10/24 configured on your PC (please follow this article for instructions)


Connect your PC and welding equipment through Ethernet cable



Access Quark gateway configuration page launching https://192.168.254.1 page in your browser. If you get a privacy error please refer to this guide


Follow below instructions to update Quark gateway firmware.


Update Quark firmware

Quark gateway update through web interface


1. Log in with your gateway credentials (default credentials are username: admin and password: gateway).
If you forgot gateway credentials you could do a factory reset as explained here


2. Click "Upgrade"


3. Click "Web upgrade"


4. Click "Select firmware" and load the firmware file you have previously downloaded on your computer


5. Click "Start upgrade"


6. Wait for the process to complete. It could take up to 25 minutes

7. Once done, gateway will reboot itself. Reboot will take up to 2 minutes

8. To check new version has been installed, you could either login again to gateway web interface or check directly into WeldCloud Fleet
