How to connect ESAB Aristo system to WeldCloud using WeldCloud Link app

Connect via Wi-Fi


Step-by-step walkthrough for connecting an ESAB Aristo system with Quark gateway to WeldCloud using the WeldCloud Link Android app over Bluetooth, configuring WiFi connectivity. 19 steps, ~5 minutes.


Prerequisites


  • ESAB Aristo system with built-in Quark gateway (compatible systems)
  • Android device (7.0+) with Bluetooth and Internet
  • WeldCloud Link installed
  • Active InduSuite account with WeldCloud license
  • At least one Site created in WeldCloud


Procedure


  1. Turn on welding equipment and wait 2 minutes for gateway to boot
  2. Open WeldCloud Link on your Android device

  3. Tap "LOG IN" and use your WeldCloud apps credentials

    Enter credentials
  4. Tap on the hamburger menu in the top left corner

  5. Tap "Welding Unit Setup"

  6. Tap "CONNECT"



    Tap CONNECT
  7. Available WeldCloud devices will be displayed — tap on the Aristo device you want to connect to

  8. Wait for Bluetooth connection to be ready

  9. Tap on "PAIR"



    Tap PAIR
  10. Tap "NEW SETUP"

  1. Enter gateway password (default: gateway) and tap "LOGIN"

  1. You will be forced to change the default password — choose a new password, type it twice, tap "SAVE CHANGES"

  1. Select "Wifi"

  1. Tap on the WiFi icon to scan for available networks

  1. WeldCloud Link will scan for available Wi-Fi networks

  1. Fill in the WiFi password and tap "NEXT"

  1. Type the welding equipment display name, pick the site, select asset type and license, then tap "CONFIGURE SETUP"

  1. You will be notified once configuration is done

  • Ethernet cable connected between Aristo and your network
  • Android device (7.0+) with Bluetooth and Internet
