Record Preweld Temperatures in WeldCloud Assembly
Record Preweld Temperatures in WeldCloud Assembly using the "Send to Machine" option inside a Weld. You can also record inter-pass temperatures by updating the parameter after each pass. This data can be cross-checked in WeldCloud Fleet.
Procedure
- Go to the desired Weld and click "Send to Machine..."

- Click on the machine you want to use for this weld, then click the *"WPS Parameter ID " field to select it

- Click the *"WPS Parameter ID " field

- Select the appropriate WPS Parameter from the list

- Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the temperature value

- Click "Send to machine"

- You can check the recorded temperature in WeldCloud Fleet by clicking the Fleet link — it takes you directly to the Fleet page of the selected machine

- Click the back button to return to the weld

- After going back to the same Weld, if you have multiple Parameters, click "Change Parameter" to enter a new Preweld Temperature — this will be considered as the Inter-pass Temperature. The next parameter will be automatically selected

- Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the new temperature

- Click "Update parameter"

- Return to the same Weld in WeldCloud Assembly, click "Change Parameter" to enter another Inter-pass Temperature

- Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the temperature

- Click "Update parameter" to register the changes
