Record Preweld Temperatures in WeldCloud Assembly

Record Preweld Temperatures in WeldCloud Assembly using the "Send to Machine" option inside a Weld. You can also record inter-pass temperatures by updating the parameter after each pass. This data can be cross-checked in WeldCloud Fleet.


Procedure


  1. Go to the desired Weld and click "Send to Machine..."Go to Weld and click Send to Machine


  1. Click on the machine you want to use for this weld, then click the *"WPS Parameter ID " field to select itClick machine and WPS Parameter ID


  1. Click the *"WPS Parameter ID " fieldClick WPS Parameter ID field


  1. Select the appropriate WPS Parameter from the listSelect WPS Parameter


  1. Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the temperature valueClick Preweld temperature field


  1. Click "Send to machine"Click Send to machine


  1. You can check the recorded temperature in WeldCloud Fleet by clicking the Fleet link — it takes you directly to the Fleet page of the selected machineCheck in WeldCloud Fleet


  1. Click the back button to return to the weldClick back


  1. After going back to the same Weld, if you have multiple Parameters, click "Change Parameter" to enter a new Preweld Temperature — this will be considered as the Inter-pass Temperature. The next parameter will be automatically selectedClick Change Parameter


  1. Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the new temperature

  1. Click "Update parameter"


Click Update parameter


  1. Return to the same Weld in WeldCloud Assembly, click "Change Parameter" to enter another Inter-pass Temperature


Return to Weld and Change Parameter


  1. Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the temperature

  1. Click "Update parameter" to register the changes
