How to set up your factory working shifts

Define factory working shifts in InduSuite Settings so that WeldCloud Productivity can calculate accurate KPIs like arc time factor and utilization. Shifts control which days and hours count as production time for your site.

Prerequisites

• An InduSuite account with access to Settings
• At least one site already created in InduSuite

Procedure

1. Go to Settings.

   
   

   
   
2. Click Shifts.

   
   

   
   
3. Click Add shift.

   
   

   
   
4. Enter the shift name (e.g., "Morning Shift") in the Shift name field.

   
   

   
   
5. Choose the site or sites to attach this shift to.

   
   

   
   
6. Activate the workdays that apply to this shift.

   
   

   
   
7. Set the start time and finish time for the shift.

   
   

   
   
8. Click Add break and enter planned break times. If the shift runs overnight, activate the Overnight checkbox.

   
   

   
   
9. Configure the site schedule settings as needed.

   
   

   
   
10. Use Sync Times to copy the current day's schedule to all active workdays.

11. Click Save.
