WeldCloud Link first steps

We are glad you downloaded WeldCLoud Link app and you are eager to start!
Instructions below will help you to familiarize with the app and get the basic information to explore it.

1. Open WeldCloud Link app

2. To provide full functionalities, grant WeldCloud Link app access specific functionalities of your Android device when required

3. WeldCloud Link will prompt if you want to LOG IN to InduSuite to get access to full functionality. If you have InduSuite credentials please log in. If not, please tap on SKIP

4. When you are not logged in to InduSuite, specific features may be not available. You can still keep using the app any functionality that does not require and InduSuite account (e.g. identify yourself as a welder against a welding equipment and start to add traceability data)

5. In this guide we will log in with an InduSuite account to have an overview of all available options.

Tap on LOG IN

6. Enter your InduSuite credentials and click on Sign in

7. Let's start to explore now the WeldCloud Link app menu.
Click on the hamburgher menu on the top left


8. You will be shown you are logged in as InduSuite user

9. Clicking on Language will let you change the app language

10. Select your language and tap Save Changes.
If your language is not there, please reach out to us.

11. Go back and enter again the main menu

12. Next option is Welding Unit Setup. Enter this menu if you want to connect and configure your WeldCloud enabled device.

13. Settings is the next option.

Here you can

• Enable/Disable Demo mode for WeldCloud Link app
• Enable/Disable Logout on disconnect for WeldCloud Link app

Demo mode is a special feature that allows you to try a demo of specific WeldCloud Link features (like QR code and barcode scanning) where a connection to a WeldCloud enabled equipment is required. Thanks to Demo mode you can try and simulate those features.

Logout on disconnect is a powerful option that gives you the opportunity to choose wheter or not a welder should still being connected to a welding equipment once WeldCloud Link is disconnected. Please read out more on this feature in this article

14. About option will show you info on installed version of WeldCloud Link app

15. Click on Logout if you want to disconnect as an InduSuite user from WeldCloud Link
