Weld data Analytics feature

Advanced analytics for welding data insights. Use scatter charts to identify weld sessions outside WPS limits, understand parameter distribution across your fleet, and drill into specific sessions.

Prerequisites

  • Access to apps.indusuite.com
  • WeldCloud Productivity subscription
  • Recorded weld sessions in the system

Procedure

Step 1: Open WeldCloud Productivity

Click on the WeldCloud Productivity app.

Open WeldCloud Productivity

Step 2: Navigate to Analytics

Click "Analytics" in the left menu under the Weld Data section.

Click Analytics

Step 3: Select Time Span

Select the desired time span from the filter options. In this example, select "Last week".

Select time span

Step 4: Select Machines

Select the welding machines you want to analyze from the machine filter.

Select machines

Step 5: Configure Tack Weld Exclusion

Click the "Exclude tack welds" field to enable tack weld filtering.

Step 6: Set Tack Weld Duration

Exclude Tack Welds by defining the duration threshold using the slider. Default value: arc time below or equal 3 seconds.

Set tack weld duration

Step 7: Apply Filters

Click "Apply" to load the analytics with your selected filters.

Click Apply

Step 8: Check Request Limit

If not all welding sessions are included, a notification appears indicating the data is incomplete.

Request limit notification

Step 9: Adjust Request Limit

Adjust the "Request limit" setting to include all missing welding sessions.

Adjust request limit

Step 10: Apply Updated Limit

Click "Apply" after adjusting the request limit to reload with complete data.

Apply updated limit

Step 11: View All Sessions

All sessions matching the applied filters are now visualized in the scatter chart.

Step 12: Filter by Parameter Ranges

Refine your data by setting specific ranges for parameters like Average Amperage and Average Voltage. Click "Apply" when done.

Filter by ranges

Step 13: View Filtered Results

The number of welding sessions falling in specified ranges appears under "Sessions". Matching data points are highlighted in the chart and statistics adjust accordingly.

Step 14: Start Graph from Origin

Optionally, select the "Clicking the Graph always starts from 0 (X/Y)" checkbox to include the origin in the chart.

Start from origin checkbox

Step 15: View Chart with Origin

The chart rearranges to include the origin (0,0).

Step 16: Drill into Sessions

Hover over a data point for extra information. Click on a data point to open that welding session's details page.

Step 17: Switch to Limits Mode

Change the "Range mode" option from "Filter data" to "Limits".

Switch to Limits mode

Step 18: Apply Limits

Click "Apply" to apply the Limits range mode.
