How to enable ESAB Warrior EDGE NFC cards for operators

Set up operator traceability with NFC cards on ESAB Warrior EDGE welding systems.


Prerequisites


  • ESAB Warrior EDGE welding system
  • ROBUSTFEED EDGE with built-in RFID capabilities
  • NFC cards (2 admin cards + 3 user cards)
  • Access to apps.indusuite.com
  • WeldCloud Fleet subscription

Procedure


Step 1: Enable Personal Login in Warrior EDGE


  1. Tap an admin card on the Warrior EDGE feeder
  2. Navigate to system settings
  3. Enable Personal Login feature
  4. Confirm activation


Step 2: Create Welder in Personnel Management


  1. Access WeldCloud Settings app
  2. Navigate to Personnel Management
  3. Create new welder profile:
    • Enter welder name
    • Set permissions
  4. Associate with user NFC card:
    • For new cards: NFC ID is printed on card
    • For older cards: Use how to get NFC ID article


Step 3: Create Machine Permission Group


  1. Access WeldCloud Fleet
  2. Create permission group:
    • Select group type (All machines or Custom)
    • Name the group
  3. Assign welder to group
  4. Set permission levels for machines:
    • Admin
    • Full Access
    • Limited
    • No Access
