Update Preweld Temperature

Record preweld temperature readings for quality documentation in WeldCloud Fleet.


Prerequisites



Procedure


Step 1: Navigate to Machine


Inside WeldCloud Fleet, navigate to Machines & Stations, and then select the desired machine.

Step 2: Select Machine


Click on the machine you want to update (e.g., "Machine 3").


Select Machine


Step 3: Click Edit


Click "Edit", and then enter the temperature in the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field.




Step 4: Enter Temperature


Click the "Preweld temperature (°C)" field and enter the temperature value.


Enter Temperature


Step 5: Click Save


Click "Save" and the temperature will be recorded.


Click Save


Step 6: Temperature Recorded


The temperature is now recorded in the system.

Temperature Field


  • Field name: Preweld temperature (°C)
  • Unit: Celsius (°C)
  • Location: Machine settings → Edit mode
  • Format: Decimal number (e.g., 100.0)


Alternative Method


You can also update or register a temperature using WeldCloud Assembly application.


Typical Temperature Ranges


  • Preheat: 50-250°C (depending on material/thickness)
  • Interpass: Usually same as preheat
  • Ambient: 10-40°C
