How to add traceability information using WeldCloud Link scanning function

In this article we will explore how to add traceability data to welding sessions recorded in WeldCloud.
There are different ways to tag information like operator, work order, filler metal type and lot, to a specific welding session:

In this guide we will cover WeldCloud Link app scanning feature to add traceability data to weld sessions.
Scanning process is usually performed by the welder/welding operator using any Android device with WeldCloud Link app installed.

Few prerequisites need to be fulfilled for a successful scanning with WeldCloud Link:

At least one welder/welding operator is created as personnel member. More details here
Welder/Welding operator is authorized to access a specific power source through a machine permission group
Welder/Welding operator knows his operator ID. This is set during the personnel member creation process. Please ask a WeldCloud admin user in your company to provide your operator ID (Assumption: welder/welding operator does not have a WeldCloud account)
